Drawing at the Point

I live near a desert lookout, on the outskirts of Arad, called “the POINT,” where I go to draw.  On clear days you can see beyond the Dead Sea to the hills of Jordan. Bedouin villages are visible from this perch overlooking the Negev, and sometimes I can hear the bells from their flocks of goats and camels.  In summer I get there at sun up, in order draw for a few hours before it gets too hot. Prints of these landscapes can be ordered and  are on exhibit at the the wine tasting Visitors Center of the Yatir Winery in Tel Arad, Israel. Go to www.yatirart.com to learn more about the art and the amazing award-winning wine.
